How it works.

Begin with a description of the work.

You do not need to prepare a formal brief or decide on a package before making contact. I confirm suitability, scope, fee, and timing before you pay.

  1. You explain what you would like reviewed.

Tell me the type of material, its approximate length, its current stage, its intended audience, its purpose, and any deadline or question that matters. A description is enough to begin. Please do not send sensitive material at this stage.

  2. I confirm whether the material is suitable.

We discuss the appropriate review format, scope, fee, and available timing. If the work needs a different kind of specialist, I will say so rather than treat an independent review as a substitute for specialist judgment.

  3. You receive your Client Brief and booking details.

The Client Brief records the material, purpose, audience, agreed questions, deliverables, fee, dates, and booking conditions. The payment instructions and submission channel are shared privately.

  4. I examine the agreed version independently.

Review work begins after the required information, material, and payment have been received and the booking is confirmed. A Written Review moves to written delivery. A Review Discussion or full review moves to the prepared session.

  5. You receive the service you booked.

You receive the written findings, attend the prepared discussion, or receive both. You should keep your own copy of anything delivered to you. After the agreed service is complete, I retain the signed agreement as the contractual record and delete the Client Brief, submitted material, and review records that I hold.

Timing.

The delivery date is agreed before payment.

A Written Review normally takes about one week after the complete Client Brief, agreed material, and required payment have been received. The package and complexity can change the time required.

A full review session is normally arranged a little over one week after the requirements are complete and usually within two weeks. The session date and the later written delivery date are agreed separately.

A Review Discussion is scheduled according to the preparation needed and the availability agreed with you. Urgent work is accepted only when it is confirmed in writing.

Payment and practical arrangements.

The details are confirmed privately before the booking begins.

How is payment made?

Online bank transfer is the standard payment method. The payment details are shared privately after suitability, scope, timing, and the required amount have been agreed. Another payment method may be discussed individually.

How are the packages paid?

Written Reviews and Review Discussion are paid in full in advance. Full reviews use two equal payments. The first payment confirms the booking and the second is due before the discussion.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

The cancellation arrangement for your booking is stated in the Client Brief before you pay. Rescheduling can be discussed and depends on availability. A late arrival does not extend the agreed end time, and a missed session does not automatically create another session.

What if Chenice cannot provide the agreed service?

If an issue on my side prevents me from providing the agreed service, I will tell you and refund the amount paid for that service.

Before you commit.

The terms and privacy policy contain the complete standard arrangements.

The Client Brief records the details that apply to your particular review. It should be read together with the standard terms of service and privacy policy.
